I was launch editor for Computer Arts Collection, an annual series of six in-depth guides, packed with insight and inspiration from the global design industry. It was the sister title to Computer Arts from 2011–2013.
With 224 pages every eight weeks, it was the definitive guide to graphic design, typography, illustration, branding, photography and advertising. At its core was a 48-page special project, guest-edited by a different leading design studio every issue, which detailed their entire creative process from initial idea, through development and into production. It also included an unmissable 20-page report on the latest trends and movements, extended interviews with iconic designers and industry decision-makers, and an indispensable talent directory to set up your next creative collaboration.
I developed the editorial strategy from scratch, and worked closely with the commercial team to negotiate high-value sponsorship deals from the outset.
